Burkina Faso

Burkina Faso, literally “homeland of honest (people)” or “homeland of integrity”, formerly the Republic of Upper Volta and commonly called Burkina8, is a country in West Africa. Without access to the sea, it is surrounded by six countries: Niger to the east-northeast, Benin to the east-southeast, Togo to the southeast, Ghana to the south, the Coast of Ivory to the southwest and Mali to the northwest. Its capital Ouagadougou is located in the center of the country.
