On the sidelines of the 2026 National Culture Week (SNC Bobo 2026), CERAV/Africa hosted an information and dialogue session at its headquarters on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, for journalists and cultural influencers from Burkina Faso and across Africa.

This initiative aimed to boost CERAV/Africa’s visibility and image through strategic collaboration with media professionals and those working in cultural communication.

The event featured an institutional presentation of CERAV/Africa by the Delegate General, Mr. Wendlasida Herman Pouya, giving participants a better understanding of the organization's history, mission, and activities. This was followed by a presentation from Dr. Souleymane Ganou on the role of the media in showcasing and promoting cultural institutions, and concluded with a constructive discussion with the media professionals present.

These discussions have opened up promising prospects for strengthening collaboration between CERAV/Afrique and the press to better promote the performing arts in Africa.

CERAV/Afrique thus reaffirms its commitment to building lasting partnerships in support of culture.
